The NI Fiscal Council has published a report on NI's public finances and the UK Government's financial support package for the restored Executive.
The report reviews the scope of the NI Budget, how the Block Grant is determined and considers why NI departments have been overspending. The Council then examines the UK Government's financial support package and the impact of this on the Executive's finances over the short and long term.
