The NI Fiscal Council is publishing its ‘Sustainability Report 2022: special focus - Health’ on Tuesday 27 September 2022
On 7 September 2022, we published the first volume of our Sustainability Report 2022. This considered the long-term opportunities and challenges confronting NI’s public finances as a whole. This second volume provides a more detailed discussion, building on the concepts introduced and how these apply to the sustainability of the NI health system. We also consider the value of greater efficiency of delivery.
